一、社会原因

1、读书无用论的影响。一方面学生成绩差，升学无望，初中教育内容脱离现实生活，大批初中生毕业后转化为不适用的剩余劳动力，学生就业无路、致富无门，读书难以直接改变现实生活；另一方面，我校学生的家庭经济条件比较差，许多家长在经济利益的驱使下，逼迫子女外出打工以增加收入，大量青少年也渴望外出打工挣钱，填补家用。

2、我国自实施大中专毕业生国家不包分配，双向选择、自主择业的就业制度后，人们还不能适应。大多数家长认为：读了中专和大学，出来后考试录用名额很少，难以考取，最终还是没工作，“毕业等于失业”，和没读一样，而且投资又大，不如不读。

二、家庭原因

1、家庭成员的文化程度和家庭教育价值观的影响

（1）学生家长思想保守，观念陈旧，法律意识淡薄。有的家长只顾眼前的经济利益，让孩子过早地参加劳动或外出打工，不积极主动地送子女人学。我校是回族聚居地区，家长重男轻女的封建思想比较严重，很多家长不让女孩子上完初中就出嫁，家长认为女孩学得好不如嫁得好。造成适龄女童中途流失，严重影响了 义务教育的实施， 辍学学生家长文化程度低、目光短浅，送子女上学只是为了识字，想法简单、现实。子女如果学习成绩不好，父母就让其辍学，反正会识字、算数就够了。

（2）父母离异、病故及一些单亲家庭的子女，一般性格较内向、孤僻，不合群，加之学习成绩又不佳，故选择辍学。

（3）我校部分学习好的学生大量转入我市其他中学，转学现象严重存在。每学期开学都有大量学生转出。

2、家庭经济收入影响

（1）有些家庭思想观念落后，存在一定数量的超生家庭，他们孩子较多，夫妻均无业，孩子学得再好也没有让其读书的打算。

（2）即使一些家庭子女学习成绩较好，升学有望，但家庭贫困。 家庭认为政府对义务教育免费，供了初中，高中谁供？大学又谁供？早晚是供不起，初中生又大多数在13至16岁，已具备一定的从事低学历职业的能力， 于是辍学经商打工挣钱、念经或出嫁等现象大量存在。

三、学生自身原因

1、随着社会的发展、科技的进步，一般家庭都意识到了知识的重要性，对教育都意识到了知识的重要性，对教育还是很支持的，但有些家庭只有两个小孩或独生子女，他们大多缺乏吃苦精神，懒惰，不安心学习，不能克服自然、家庭、社会等方面的影响，自己放弃学习。

2、初中学生大多处于13至16岁，他们正值青春发育期，生理和心理变化剧烈，个性突出，一般具有叛逆心理，在学校稍有压力或同学关系不融洽就弃学。

四、学校方面的原因

1、我校自整合后两个教学部距离较远，尤其是****地处西郊，学生上学交通不便。

2、个别教师观念未转变，教学方式方法落后，不能对学生因材施教、对症下药，缺少关爱，致使部分学生学习积极性降低，导致厌学、逃学、弃学。
